Project Overview
On The River Tiny House & Cabin Rentals needed a refreshed website that better reflected the experience of staying along Colorado’s South Platte River while making it easier for guests to explore the properties and plan a stay.
I redesigned the site in WordPress, creating a more inviting, visually cohesive experience centered around the property’s riverfront setting, outdoor activities, and proximity to Denver.

The Challenge
The existing website needed a clearer structure and a more polished visual experience, but the project also presented an important functional challenge: the client wanted guests to be able to book directly without relying on Airbnb or VRBO.
The site needed a simple way for visitors to search dates, view availability, and reserve either the tiny house or cabin while keeping the booking experience connected to the client’s own website.
The Transformation
I reorganized the site around the information travelers need when deciding where to stay: accommodations, location, amenities, outdoor activities, and direct access to availability.
Large destination photography, a natural color palette, and stronger typography help communicate the quiet, outdoors-focused experience of the property, while clearer calls to action guide visitors toward exploring the accommodations and planning their stay.
